WHERE WRITERS EXCEL
The Black Writer's Collective came about during the 2020 Pandemic, when a diverse group of Black screenwriters banded together. From its beginning, The Black Writer's Collective provided a deep creative space for its writers to grow and organically collaborate with each other.
The mission of the Black Writer's Collective is to help create diverse stories that show our intersectional world in a positive light, to change this world, and to inspire other creatives in pursuing their own excellence.
